Well, this is nothing new to most of the people in the industry but we often get enquiries about hosting. One and one or 1&1 are one of the largest hosting companies in Europe. I need to clarify one thing – they are a budget hosting wholesaler. They provide quality hosting for peanuts, but most of the processes are automated. If you are interested in support, we resell their hosting with additional layer of server admin support, backup and monitoring. However, 1&1 don’t have hidden costs like other budget hosting companies. Fasthosts, Easyspace and 123reg are particularily bad – avoid!!!
We recommend cloud servers which can be upgraded any time from the control panel. We have two of them and one older dedicated server, which will be replaced soon. If you need email solutions, hosted MS Exchange is very cost effective and works surprisingly well. Shared hosting is not too bad at all if you need to host a small website.
